The Port of Cadiz presents its facilities and services in the United States

The Bay of Cadiz Port Authority will participate next week in a direct mission with the US logistics sector organised by Extenda.

The Bay of Cadiz Port Authority (APBC) will present its facilities and services next week to US companies in the logistics sector within a direct mission organised by Extenda, in which the Bay of Algeciras Port also participates.

Throughout the week, the APBC will have the opportunity to contact around fifty companies and visit several ports on the US East Coast, including Connecticut, New York and Virginia.

The participation in this mission is part of the philosophy of making known internationally the new spaces and infrastructures available for container traffic and for the rest of goods.

According to the scheduled agenda, on Tuesday 18th, the delegation -which also includes companies from Cadiz in the port maritime sector- will present the services and facilities offered to the Port Authority of Connecticut, will visit the New Haven Port terminal and will have a meeting with a dozen maritime companies from Connecticut.

On Wednesday, the APBC will have the opportunity to introduce itself in the port of New York and, subsequently, hold a working meeting with a score of maritime companies from New York Metro Area.

The mission will move on Thursday to the Port of Virginia, with presentation of both the port and the Virginia Maritime Association and the Port Authorities of the Bay of Cadiz and Algeciras, to subsequently hold a meeting with 17 other companies in the sector in this city.

Finally, on Friday, a presentation of the delegation of Andalusian maritime companies is scheduled before the Commercial Councillor of Spain in New York and before the Director of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain and the United States.
