The Port Authority receives the Fair Logistics Certification from the World Organization of Cities and Logistics Platforms

    It represents a tool to improve the competitiveness of trade and its fundamental mission is to improve the sustainability of transport and promote logistics platforms.

    The Port Authority of the Bay of Cadiz has received the Fair Logistics Certification granted by the World Organization of Cities and Logistics Platforms (OMCPL) as a tool to improve the competitiveness of Trade.

    The fundamental mission of Fair Logistics is to improve and increase non-conventional logistic trade routes, and to make more efficient the use of multimodal transport, as well as to achieve the sustainability of the sector, promote the increase of trade corridors and logistics platforms and a greater social inclusion of trade.

    The award ceremony took place within the framework of the 4th World Forum of Cities and Logistics Platforms, held in Monterrey, Mexico, a few days ago. The seal certifies that the distinguished logistics service providers comply with the criteria governing the program, which include transparency in the cost of logistics service, improved analysis of logistics routes, improved environmental aspects and support for small and medium enterprises.

    The Port Authority of the Bay of Cadiz has welcomed this distinction with great satisfaction and enthusiasm, which encourages it to continue improving its procedures and also to lead a process of excellence together with the port community.
