The Association for the Promotion of the Port of the Bay of Cádiz (Cádiz-Port), chaired by Dr. Daniel Macpherson Snyder, will host the roundtable discussion “Port Horizons: Building the Future from the Port” next Wednesday, September 17, at 12:30 p.m. in the Ma’Arifa Building, headquarters of the Cádiz Business Confederation.

The meeting, part of the Port Horizons 2025 project, funded by the Institute for Employment and Technological Development (IEDT) of the Cádiz Provincial Council, will bring together leading voices from the institutional and business world to discuss the strategic role of the Port of the Bay of Cádiz in the creation of skilled employment, innovation, and collaboration. Speakers include Nausikaa Botamino García, Managing Director of the IEDT (Technical Development Institute) of the Cádiz Provincial Council; Beatriz Gandullo Sosa, Fifth Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Economic Development and Employment Promotion of the Cádiz City Council; Daniel Sánchez Román, Regional Delegate for Employment, Business, and Self-Employment of the Regional Government of Andalusia; as well as Antonio Domínguez Abecia, Director of Repairs Business at Navantia Bahía de Cádiz, and Juan Manuel Gómez Castrillón, Head of Base for Boluda Towage Spain in Cádiz. The session will also feature a presentation by Daniel Macpherson Snyder, President of Cádiz-Port, and will be moderated by journalist Rubén Darío López Rodríguez from COPE Cádiz.

The day will conclude with a networking event, designed to promote the exchange of ideas, the creation of synergies, and the generation of collaboration opportunities between companies and institutions linked to the port sector.
