The common interest of the maritime business sector, including shipping agents, stevedores, freight forwarders, shipowners, transporters, customs agents, the fishing sector, and the tourism sector, among others, as well as official entities such as the Port Authority, the Honorable City Council of Cádiz, the Free Zone Consortium, the Confederation of Entrepreneurs, and the Chamber of Commerce, crystallized more than 25 years ago in Cádiz-Port. This association brings together companies and entities directly or indirectly linked to maritime activity, with the primary objective of promoting the Port of Cádiz Bay and its business activity, disseminating its geographical and technical characteristics, consolidating itself as one of the main intercontinental maritime meeting points.

Both Cádiz-Port as a whole and each of the associated companies and organizations have dedicated great efforts to this end. As a result, the set of docks of the Port of Cádiz Bay Port has adapted to the demands of modern maritime traffic and has optimal port planning to successfully compete in commercial, tourist, and sports activities related to the sea.

Thanks to the operational versatility and multifunctionality of its docks, the Port of Cádiz Bay accommodates a wide range of port traffic, serving as a gateway to southern Europe for all intercontinental cargo flows. This is achieved through the application of modern technologies and a strategic location that facilitates access to communication systems, supported by a variety of services that include the Border Control Post (BCP), the Free Zone of Cádiz, shipyard repair docks, and the Dragados Offshore plant, as well as services like fuel supply to ships.

The aspirations and plans for the Cádiz Bay are constantly renewed with projects that contribute to improving port services, stimulating new planning, and achieving additional objectives, making the most of the characteristics and opportunities offered by each of its docks.
